Working as a tour guide has given me a unique lens through which to see the world, one that profoundly influences my art. Every tour is a journey not just through landscapes, cities, and historical sites but also through the emotions and stories of the people who experience them.

Sharing South Africa’s rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, and hidden gems with visitors has sharpened my eye for detail, colour, and atmosphere. I’ve learned to notice the quiet moments: the texture of an old stone wall, the way the light falls on a mountain at dusk, or the vivid patterns in local craftwork. These moments often become my work, translated into brushstrokes, layers, and texture.

My art reflects the places I've explored, the people I've met, and the stories I've told along the way. Whether I’m painting a windswept landscape, a bustling market scene, or an abstract piece inspired by local rhythms and sounds, my experiences as a tour guide continue to shape my creative voice.
